As we are approaching the 2010 Tuscaloosa Bridal Show at the Jemison Mansion, I wanted to take a minute to talk about some venues in Tuscaloosa for getting married or having a reception. Over the next few weeks I am going to be going to a few locations and shooting some outdoor and indoor shots and then hopefully interviewing some of the people that are in charge at each location to give you guys a nice guide on these venues.
I want my blog to be very interactive! Do you guys have some particular venues you want more info on? Leave a comment here and I will make sure I get to your location. Here are a few that I am going to be starting out with…
1) Jamison-Van de Graaff Mansion
2) Battle-Friedman House
3) North River Yacht Club
4) Old Train Station
5) Hotel Capstone
6) Southern House and Garden
Please let me know the ones that you want to know about that I have no listed!

Guys and girls! What a fun experience! We got a great start to feeding some hungry folks. With the comments that were put on the blog and a donation we were able to purchase 72 cans of food! Yea baby! This is not something we plan on stopping, we are going to fire this thing back up in a few weeks. I see t-shirts in the near future…..hmmm (wheels turning, smoke boiling out of ears, headache, get some chips, everything is better now)
I would absolutely love to hear your ideas on how we could make the next session of “Cans for Comments” more successful. I seriously want to take this thing to the next level. Maybe our next goal is to double up? Are we thinking to small here? Could we triple up? Could we get 225 cans of foodage on the next attempt? To be honest, its up to you? How committed are you to letting your friends know so this thing can go viral? If we spread the word and get off our duffs we can get a couple hundred comments on this ol’girl. Who is with me? Who wants to help people that are hungry? I know this guy does and I am going to give you guys a chance in the next few weeks to help me make that happen!
I will get some shots of the food bank to blog about when I drop the foods off this week! Woot! Great job everybody!!!!!!

Ok ladies and gents. I need some help on this one. I can’t decide which I like better. I love the feel of the old timey looking processing that I worked on for a while the other night. I also really like the standard color version. So I want to let you guys tell me what you think and pick.

So I had a toughie today! Our church was presenting “The Light” by David Hodges formerly of Evanescence, oh and he has 2 Grammys. The production was breathe taking, pretty stinking awesome! I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Great message, tugged the heart strings, got me fired up about the Christmas season!
Now onto the tough part, getting some photos in pitch black darkness. Can I just say that I love my new camera! The 5Dii is amazing in low light situations! I got a lot of usable stuff that the old 40D would have just stayed in the bag because there would have been no use…
I can’t wait to do this thing again next year. Everyone should keep an eye out for it next year if you didn’t get to attend this year, it is worth it! Here are some of the shots I was able to get in the pitch black of the theater.

The Adams were over to have a set of family portraits done for Christmas and gifts. We had a great time, Micheal is a funny little guy, he loves to play and run around. The girls are beautiful. Haley and Krystina have great looks and are very photogenic. Great to see a family come together for photos and have a good time.
